Since founding Sollerta with colleagues, Geoff has successfully undertaken a number of commissions as a Consultant including:

Helping a medium-sized Defence Company win its biggest multi-million pound contract

Advising one of the UK's leading Shipyards on efficiency improvements.

Assisting another Consultancy in advising its client bidding for the UK's largest ever communications contract – the client won
Preparing a University-led consortium's pre-Tender submission for a major research opportunity in the UK MOD's Defence Technology Centre initiative.

Assisting SMEs in resolving contractual difficulties

Team Leader of a PFI based shipbuilding bid by a major Defence Contractor working directly to the Commercial Director
Presentation of Defence procurement and commercial issues at Seminars for Industry run by Business Information Publications Ltd
Team Member of Key Stage Peer Review (MOD equivalent of Gateway) in respect of major long term partnering support proposal.

MOD (2000 and earlier)

The successful management of a wide range of major, high profile competitions and single-tender procurements, including direct negotiation of the associated commercial arrangements at Company Board level:

Negotiation of contracts for the development and production of complex Sonar equipment

Negotiation of Torpedo development and production contracts

Negotiation of the Nuclear Submarine "Astute" Contract ( £2Bn+)

Management and negotiation of the ground-breaking competition for the Contractor Operation (GOCO) of the Nuclear Weapons Establishment, Aldermaston (£2Bn+)

General oversight and negotiation of all other Nuclear commercial matters from propulsion to waste disposal
